Disneyland California Adventure Performance Information

NOVEMBER 7th, 2015 (Performance) 1. DANCERS  MUST  BE  AT  EVERY  REHEARSAL.  

There are no exceptions. These rehearsals are listed on the calendar on the website. Please make the commitment for your dancer to understand how special and important this opportunity is to perform at one of the most famous places in the world. The Rehearsal schedule is:

1) September  Saturdays  

12th,  19th  and  26th  1-­‐3pm  2) October  Saturdays  3rd,  10th  and  24th  1-­‐3pm  

3) Monday  November  2nd  6-­‐8pm  

Dancers  need  to  be  on  time  and  stay  for  the  ENTIRE  REHEARSAL.  

2. All dancers MUST practice their dances at home as often as possible. Have them practice smiling through the entire dance so they are providing the Disney audience with a great performance experience. There will be so many little girls at California Adventure that day that will be watching your performer on stage and wishing they had the same opportunity. Your dancer should be having fun while performing!

3. All Dancers must provide their own transportation to and from California along with lodging, food and all other necessary expenses. You are welcome to stay anywhere. There are numerous hotels in every price range near Disneyland.

4. All Performers will need to purchase their Disney Ticket through Centrestage, which will include their Performance & rehearsal Fees. The tickets will be given out at the rehearsal on Monday November 2nd . Discounted tickets are also available to all family/friends. There is

no limit on the number of tickets you may purchase. The savings in parenthesis tells you the discount from Disney’s online ticket pricing.

Dancer’s  accounts  must  be  paid  in  full  and  have  a  $0  balance  to  be  able  to  participate.  6. All dancers will need to wear regular clothes into the

park, and bring their performance costume, shoes & poms (if needed) in a small back-pack. Dance bags are too large

to bring into the park. Once we meet, dancers will change into their costume in our dressing rooms. Hair & Makeup should be done and performance ready when they meet us. 7. Once we have determined how many dancers we have from each team, we will decide which dances we will be performing and our overall show. Once we make this decision, we will inform the dancers of the teams that will need to bring their poms with them. 9. At the rehearsals, we will give you the directions and information for the location that we will be meeting at on the day of the performance. We will also go over the time to meet and the expected Performance Day Plan. IT IS VERY important that every parent drops their dancer off ON TIME at the Meeting Location on the day of the performance and then proceeds on to the seating area in front of the stage. It is very distracting to have parents with us as we are preparing the dancers for the day’s events. Please help us by cooperating with this request. No parent will be allowed to enter the backstage area with us on the day of the performance. Thank you so much for your cooperation.
