Kabel-X Vermarktungs GmbH

Kabel-X Vermarktungs GmbH was founded in February 2003. The same year, a research and development centre was established. The company’s business objective is to internationally market the Kabel-X system by granting licenses for the implemetation and markeing of the pa-tent in certain territories or countries . The Kabel-X technology has been globally patented. Ka-bel-X has developed in-house all required machinery, auxiliary and operating materials along-side the 100% biological gliding fluid. Leading businesses in the telecom, cable-TV, infrastruc-ture and power supply industries worldwide have applied Kabel-X’s revolutionary technology. Among Kabel-X' customers are Deutsche Telekom, B&T Luxemburg, KPN, and has implemen-ted projects in Hungary, US, Malaysia, South Africa, Singapore, Austria and many other countries all over the world.

From copper to fibre without excavation! Kabel-X is a patented technology for the fast and cost-saving upgrade of physically and techni-cally outdated infrastructures almost without digging. Old buried copper cables or copper cables in conduits are cored by inserting a 100% biological fluid under pressure and so deta-ching the copper core from cable sheath. Afterwards the copper core can be extracted and microducts and fibre optics can be inserted into the resulting cavity in the sheath remaining in the ground. Besides reducing bureaucratic wattles and planning time, with the Kabel-X techno-logy also valuable copper is recycled!

The foundation of the SDA is the LightningEdge Operating System (LE-OS), the core operating sys-tem that spans the company’s entire product line. Fast and efficient service activation and management is handled by the Ethernet Services Manager (ESM), and a full array of purpose built network devices, including Service Aggregation, Concentration and Delivery Switches, complete the architecture.
