HOW TO STUDY

• To start with, it is important to study at least 30 minutes a day in order not to have somany subjects to handle on the day before the exams.

• Look back at the GRAMMAR POINTS and VOCABULARY you have been studying, takinginto consideration the context in which they occur.

• There is no secret weapon which guarantees an effective learning process. So it isextremely important that you organize yourself and think backwards, taking into accountthe deadlines.

• Make use of notebooks to create a study agenda. List everything you have got to do during the week, and try not to fall behind any goals you have established.

• It is also important to have a bit of fun. After a period of hard work, give yourself a moment to relax. Think of activities you like doing, such as watching series, going to thebeach and reading.

HOW TO STUDY

• Remember that “perfect synonyms” do not exist. There may be, at least, a slightdifference between two or more words. Be careful!!!

• If need be, use trustworthy dictionaries (hereafter there are some recommended sourcesfor you to consult).

• Avoid bilingual dictionaries, for translations not always do help understand the subtletiesof the language.

• If you are a gadget-lover, download the FREE DICTIONARY APP on your cellphone. Everytime you come across situations you need to use the English language, this app is going tobe really helpful.

• And last but not least, expose yourself to the language. Do not feel afraid of expressingyourself in English. Enjoy any kind of situation you have to practice what you have beenlearning in class.

• Talk to your English teacher in case you still have doubts.
