UNC Charlotte’s Top Dance Team Is Looking For New Members
The Gold Dusters Will Host Tryouts in May
Charlotte, NC- The 49ers Gold Dusters dance team is hosting tryouts for the upcoming Basketball season, Friday, May 13, 2016, at 5pm in the Barnhardt Student Activities Center.
The Gold Dusters represent and support Charlotte 49ers athletics by performing different dance routines and techniques at: • Women’s basketball home games • Men’s basketball home games • NDA Nationals competition in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Dancer on the team Mellisa Elliot says, “The Gold Dusters are a great team to be on. I’ve made lasting relationships with my teammates. I would definitely recommend trying out!”
Participants should come prepared with a one minute solo. Those not able to attend can e-mail Coach Danielle a video submission. Previous dance experience is recommended but not required.
