Media Product One: Movie Cover: Carrie (2013)

The photograph was taken for the Movie Cover for the Film “ Carrie “ for cinemas, It’s portraying the movie, by selling covers to business’s to let the audience know about the name and when it’s out in the cinemas.

The location of the shot was taken in America, Hollywood film productions. Framing and the shot was a front shot view, close up, in a dark room studio, The composition is more focus on the bloody face and a very dark background. With the title in Big bold writing. It’s a sharp focus with the face front.

In this movie cover, the film “ Carrie” I can see that the photograph is very close up to the camera. Makeup has been used on the face with a bloody looking look on the face. This makes it appealing to the audience is that it makes it look more interesting to watch. The story it tells me is that the film is a dark horror movie with a troubled, possessive girl.

Very dark background behind, I can tell this is a portrait, it makes it look Dark, scary, Advertising, eye catching to the audience.

Media Product Two: (What's the Story) Morning Glory? By Oasis

This Photograph has been taken for a music album cover. The photo is a long shot portrait. The detail in the photograph looks like it’s been taken on a busy high street with shops on each side, and two men in the middle of the street, there are people in the image in the back.

But the image is blurred out so that you can’t see them. As the street goes down you can see it’s very bright.

I do like this album cover, it looks busy in the back of the two men, I like how they’ve used the blurred effect. And how busy the shops are.
