Easily scalable throughput

Aft er the scanning process, each slide is recorded in the Image Management System, the digital archive, through its barcode information so that individual slides can be quickly found at a later point in time. Independent of time and place, the resulting virtual sample can now be conveniently viewed in our viewer soft ware, which has been specifi cally developed for the needs in microscopy.

The system operates fully autonomously 24/7 without supervision. In case that one or more scanners fail, the system does not switch off but continues to run with the functional units. PreciPoint solutions can be maintained via a VPN tunnel, enabling monitoring the system and its processes from any location and at all times.

Housing of the scanner-units

300 slides – per hour, per day, per week? Each research la-boratory has diff erent throughput requirements. Therefore PreciPoint off ers a comprehensive system that can be fl e-xibly adapted to your requirements. Our goal is to make the entire process from scanning and analysis to data exchange as simple and effi cient as possible. We use robot technology that automatically feeds and removes slides from one or more scanning units.

Software Analysis After successfully implementing an all-new digital work-flow, the implementation of software analytics and AI is started. The basis for implementing AI is a powerful plat-form that connects annotation tools with the IMS. Both, the annotation tool as well as the IMS can be on-premise or web-based or a hybrid mix of both solutions. Based on the annotated data, different AI models can be tested and applied to find the best available solutions to improve the digital workflows.

While the advantages of AI and software analysis are well known, most users are faced with the challenge of selec-ting the right partners and struggle building the infrastruc-ture needed to train, deploy and scale production-ready AI applications. PreciPoint offers an open platform where companies and their users can apply various technologies to find answers to their specific questions. Thus, obstacles and risks for users can be reduced and the potential of outcomes can be multiplied.

User Work-Station Your workplace is at the heart of the lab. All data is bundled here waiting to be processed. The digital images are con-nected to the LMS and IMS systems and all data is retrieved with one click. This is where work is done, decisions are made and most of the working day is spent.

After a busy day, users shouldn‘t have to go home with orthopedic discomfort. This is why we design workplaces to be as ergonomic and efficient as possible. Of course, we also supply screens and input devices as well as our own viewer software which is specifically designed and develo-ped for the needs in microscopy.
