A form of CD packaging, but very different from your typical jewel case as it is made from cardboard with a plastic tray to hold the CD with a book-style outer binding.They can come in a range of sizes: 4 panel, 6 panel and sometimes 8 panel

Digipak-style packaging is often used for CD singles
Though it has become more popular in the industry and now more artists choose this as the option for their album’s packaging
Is often seen as a more interesting way of presenting an album; often digipaks are used for deluxe albums or special editions as there is more space for extra details

materials used to make them If damaged they are much harder to replace May not be seen as popular anymore as many people download
their music online CD tray has less protection compared to a jewel case so may
become loose or crack
