digipak deconstruction

Our Digipak
The above images show the front and back of our digipak. We forgot to document the process of making our digipak however we will explain it here.
Front
To begin with, we took a picture of a white wall to use as the background for our digipak. We de-saturated the image (CTRL + SHIFT + U) so that once we pasted the
cropped image of our model, he would stand out more. Using an image we took, we used the quick selection tool on Photoshop to crop out the model and place him
against the black and white background. We downloaded fonts (dafont.com) from the internet and created the text to use on both our Magazine advert and Digipak.

Back
To begin with we created a black background. We then cropped the image on the right only showing the strings of the guitar and rotated it 180 degrees to make it look as it
does on the left. We then used a downloaded font (dafont.com) and added the names of the songs in the album. To emphasize on brand image we placed the artist’s logo
boldly at the bottom. Lastly we used an image of a barcode from the internet to make it look as professional as possible.
