Leave me alone no more;And with joy I shall make the blest harbor,

And rest on the blissful shore.

On that bright and golden morning, when the Son of Man shall come,And the radiance of His glory we shall see;

when from ev’ry clime and nation He shall call His people home,what a gath’ring of the ransomed that will be!

ChorusWhat a gath’ring, what a gath’ring,

What a gath’ring of the ransomed in the summer land of love!What a gath’ring, what a gath’ring,

Of the ransomed in that happy home above.

when the blest, who sleep in Jesus, at His bidding shall ariseFrom the silence of the grave, and from the sea,

And with bodies all celestial they shall meet Him in the skies,what a gath’ring and rejoicing there will be!

when our eyes behold the city, with its many mansions bright,And its river, calm and restful, flowing free;

when the friends that death hath parted shall in bliss again unite,what a gath’ring and a greeting there will be!

Oh, the King is surely coming, and the time is drawing nigh,when the blessed day of promise we shall see;

Then the changing “in a moment,” “in the twinkling of an eye,”And forever in His presence we shall be.

I’ve reached the land of corn and wine, And all its riches freely mine;Here shines undimmed one blissful day,

For all my night has passed away.

ChorusO Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land, As on thy highest mount I stand,

I look away across the sea, Where mansions are prepared for me,And view the shining glory shore, My Heaven, my home forever more!

My Saviour comes and walks with me, And sweet communion here have we;He gently leads me by His hand, For this is Heaven’s border land.A sweet perfume upon the breeze, Is borne from ever vernal trees,

And flowers, that never fading grow, Where streams of life forever flow.

The zephyrs seem to float to me, Sweet sounds of Heaven’s melody,As angels with the white robed throng, Join in the sweet redemption song.

FAREwELL MESSAGES

Nne m oma, Mine Nnadede, SuzukyDecency, my sweet mother…Your sudden serene rest has left an unexpected vacuum in the family. You were a mother, father, uncle and aunt to your children. we will forever be grateful to God for blessing us with such a strong, faithful, great and wonderful mother like you. Thank you so much for being my mother and for all the virtues you instilled in me like love, peace, prayerfulness, pursuit for eternal life and contentment. All of these virtues have made me resilient and self-reliant. Good night Mama Chioma,Adieu my beautiful momRest in Perfect PeaceChioma Ekemezie, Daughter

My sweet mother who prayed for her children hourly, even until death. A few of my friends who faced life’s troubles learnt how important prayer is through you and would always contact you to put them in your prayers. You taught me that all we need is prayer, especially midnight prayers as that’s that perfect time to silence the enemy and gain ground for exploits. You always made delicious meals and taught me that one doesn’t need huge amounts of money to get ingredients for healthy meals. You taught me how to make the best of the available resources. You were God fearing, Fearless, strong, wise, intelligent and bold. You were never nosy, instead, you meditated hourly which is quite rare amongst the mothers of today. I appreciate you a lot because you were impeccable in all ramification, you fed the hungry with food, the word of God and your words of wisdom. Your speech was always valued. Although you had been fighting this illness for over Twenty-Three years, you didn’t let it dominate you, you saw it as a visitor that would return home after its visit. I really admire you and I’m very happy to have a mother like you, I couldn’t have asked for a better mother. How sweet the tie of hallowed love that binds our hearts in one, when we gather in the blessed name of Christ the Father’s Son, and though parting soon may come, yet in His word is given, the blessed hope that by and by we all shall meet in heaven. Farewell mum, I love you, many many kisses. Sopuruchi Alisiobi, Daughter

Nne m, Nne m ohh, ezigbo Nne m ehh... My sweet mother, the most important and closest person to me. Although our father passed away when I was quite tender and I never really knew him, you rose to fill the gap with your impeccable kindness, warmth, love and perseverance. You stood alone for over three decades raising all your ten children all by yourself with God whom you adorably believe in, bringing us up in a happy Christian home. You taught me to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at a very young age and my life got transformed ever since. I am happy and thankful for all that you taught me as all the skills I learnt from you have helped me thus far in life. You lived a faithful life and never compromised Godly standards not even due to ill health, lack of money, favouritism or position. You have left a good legacy and my prayer is to continue on these legacies. I am proud to call you my mother and if there is another life, I will still love you to be my mum. Thank

HER FAVORITE HYMNS

I have given up all for Jesus this vain world is naught to meAll its pleasures are forgotten in remembering Calvary.

Though my friends despise, forsake me, and on me the world looks cold,I’ve a Friend that will stand by me when the pearly gates unfold.

ChorusLife’s morn will soon be waning, and its evening bells be tolled,

But my heart will know no sadness when the pearly gates unfold.

when the voice of Jesus calls me, and the angels whisper low,I will lean upon my Saviour through the valley as I go

I will claim His precious promise, worth to me the world of gold“Fear no evil, I’ll be with thee when the pearly gates unfold.”

Just beyond the waves of Jordan, just beyond its chilling tide,Blooms the Tree of Life immortal, and the living waters glideIn that happy land of spirits, are there stores of bliss untold,

And the angels are awaiting where the pearly gates unfold.

Master, the tempest is raging! The billows are tossing high!The sky is o’ershadowed with blackness, No shelter or help is nigh;

Carest Thou not that we perish? How canst Thou lie asleep,when each moment so madly is threatening

A grave in the angry deep?

ChorusThe winds and the waves shall obey My will, Peace, be still!

Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea,Or demons or men, or whatever it be

No waters can swallow the ship where liesThe Master of ocean, and earth, and skies;

They all shall sweetly obey Thy will, Peace, be still! Peace, be still!They all shall sweetly obey Thy will, Peace, peace, be still!

Master, with anguish of spirit I bow in my grief today;The depths of mysad heart are troubled

Oh, waken and save, I pray!Torrents of sin and of anguish, sweep o’er my sinking soul;

And I perish! I perish! dear Master, Oh, hasten, and take control.

Master, the terror is over, The elements sweetly rest;Earth’s sun in the calm lake is mirrored,

And heaven’s within my breast; Linger, O blessed Redeemer!

You taught me how to overcome obstacles through prayers, you were filled with the Word of God and you always made sure I attended church programmes.You were a woman of peace and a mother to all. I refused to believe that you left me, but when I remember how much you loved the word of God, I feel comforted. Your life on earth was worthy of emulation. You were more than just my mother-in-law, you accepted me as one of your sons. You were always a listening ear and you were ever ready to offer advice. It’s so painful to have lost you, but I know that you are in a better place. You were very dedicated to the Almighty God and I got to see that close up in the few months you spent with us before passing away. You also had a sense of humour and brought laughter into our lives. we will miss you very much but I am sure you are filled with joy as you look down upon us. Rest in Peace Eric Ordia, Son-in-law

Thursday 19th was indeed a very sad day. I refuse to believe that you are no more with us, but God knows the best. You were one of the most wonderful, caring and peaceful women I had ever met. I might not be your biological daughter, but you took me as a daughter. Most of the things I know today about the Scriptures were things I learnt from you. Even when I felt tired of reading the Scriptures you were always there to preach to me and encourage me. I’m very glad to have crossed paths with you as you are indeed a practical Christian. I appreciate all the time we spent together chatting, praying and singing hymns.Your last words to me were, “Chisom, always live in peace with your husband. Things will not remain the way they are now, I bet that your tomorrow will be better”. I can’t possibly express how I feel about your departure. It left me totally speechless and heartbroken, but your memories will live forever in my heart. I miss you so much Nma. Goodnight Ada Jesus, we shall meet to part no more. I have no doubt in my heart that you made it to heaven. Adieu Nma, laa nke omaChisom Onukogu, Daughter-in-Law.

It saddens my heart to know I’ll never get to see you again, touch you or even hear your voice. Your death came as a shock to me, but I accept it in good faith because God knows best. I take comfort knowing that you’re at peace and the memories we’ve made will last forever. I’m so grateful for all the things I learnt from you. Although you’re not here with me, I know that we’re not truly apart. You live on in my heart and the hearts of all your children and grandchildren.Rest in Peace Grandma Brenda Ekemezie, Granddaughter

I couldn’t just believe it when I heard of your demise my beloved grandma. It was a huge shock and it ate me up. No warning, no signs, just gone. If only I knew I would have hugged you longer and stayed a while longer the last time we saw. I miss you already, your songs, your stories, your persona, your kind rebukes and your words of comfort. I do hope to follow your examples of faith in the omniscient, endurance and consistence in looking up to God. I also hope to see you one day beyond the Vale in a glorious awakening. I won’t say goodnight because I hope there are great beams of light surrounding you. So, good day dearly beloved grandma Sussana. Till we meet again, truly a blessed memory.Wendy Ekemezie, Granddaughter

Sister Sussana Onukogu registered as a member of the world International Sacred Peace Movement on 30th August 1980 and slept in the Lord an old age. Sister Sussana Onukogu was a hard-working person, indeed, anywhere there was work she was always there to lend a helping hand. This humble, honest and dedicated character should be emulated by all, in order to help spread the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was a dedicated and cooperative member of the Sacred Fold. She humbled herself as a champion in God’s work. Even in sickness she held her God tight not to compromise her faith for anything. Sister Sussana Onukogu served our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and the organ as best as she could. She was a woman of God, according to 2 Timothy chapter 4 verse 7 to 8, we can say that.

Sister Sussana Onukogu fought a good fight, finished her course, kept the faith, and hence forth, there is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge shall give her on the resurrection day. we will forever miss Sister Sussana Onukogu. However, we are consoled by the thoughts that she passed on when she was still a very cooperative and active member of the wORLD INTERNATIONAL SACRED PEACE MOVEMENT.

By this we are assured that we shall meet our beloved Sister Sussana Onukogu again in the New Jerusalem where we shall leave to part no more. Sister Sussana Onukogu, we as a body of Christ love you, but Jesus Christ loves you more.Good night, good night Beloved Sister. May your precious and redeemed soul rest in peace in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.Fiveman Committee Oration of Late Sister Sussana Onukogu.
