– What are your co-workers Top Five? Knowing them will help you know how compatible you are in any given situation. Plus, it will help you know who to turn to when help or advise is needed.

Using what I know to improve the work environment

• Use your talents to make the most out of what you do everyday.

• Use your talents to bring new ideas to the team.• Bringing your talents makes you more willing to

apply yourself with projects and development opportunities.

• You are the one who is doing the work, so you will have ideas on how to make it better.

• Even if you do not have the ability to make changes, you can find someone who does.

Three-part Associate Development Program

• Despite the problems that are on the horizon for FY10 we can still work on making APMS better

• Three-tier Associate Development Program– Project Planning– Role Training– Individual Assignments

• More opportunities to keep us all productive during the non-holiday time frame (Feb.-Sept.)

• Working outside the box during the down time will help the department become more efficient during holiday FY 2010

• Apply the six questions when it come to the benefits of improving daily operations.

• Ask yourself these question when considering stepping outside of the box (away from processing):– Who– What – Where– When – Why– How

• Remember learning these from the 2nd Grade? Now they can help you when it comes to finding ways to apply your time effectively during the non-holiday timeframe.

• Using this timeframe helps the department continue to improve and become more and more efficient.

• Always remember that this down time is what you make of it. What is done and solved during non-holiday, will help us in the high point of holiday.

• This format allows you to participate in a way that is comfortable to you.

• Brings more ideas to the table.• Keeps the mind active during the lull of non-

holiday.• Helps us learn more about our Business

Partners, while we are improving the business from the AP side.

• More ideas can been taken into consideration.• Putting the pieces together for the future and

streamlining the process from beginning to end.
