P. R. R.and fares will also be authorized which include rail transportation to the Yellowstone Park Gateways andcomplete tours through Yellowstone National Park as outlined herein.
ROUTES1. Tickets covering rail transportation only to and from the same gateway should have that gateway
as destination, and may read going and returning via the same authorized rail route, or going viaone route and returning via another.
2. Tickets covering rail transportation only, going to one gateway and returning from another, shouldhave Yellowstone National Park as destination.
3. Tickets including rail transportation to and from the park gateways, and motor bus transpor-tation through the park, should have Yellowstone National Park as destination.
SECTION 2. DATES OF SALETickets will be on sale daily June I to September 1, 1958, inclusive.The Park season is June 16 to September 2, 1958, inclusive. The first date that passengers may leave
any Park gateway and make a tour of Yellowstone Park is June 16, 1958.The last date that passengers may leave any Park gateway and make a tour of Yellowstone Park
is September 2, 1958, except that last date passengers may leave Cody for Tour No. 16 (Cody-Red Lodge)or leave Victor for Tour No. 33 (Victor-Red Lodge) will be September 1, 1958.
SECTION 3. LIMITSLast date Park buses will reach any Park gateway after tour of Yellowstone Park, will be September
4. 1958.Passengers leaving via West Yellowstone or holding return portions of tickets sold to West Yellow-
stone must leave West Yellowstone not later than September 4, 1958.
SECTION 4. STOP-OVERSStop-overs will be permitted on rail tickets at all points en route within final limit. Additional days
may also be spent at Mammoth, Old Faithful and Canyon Hotels. For reservation arrangements, addi-tional charges, etc., see Sections 5 and I2(b).
SECTION 5. RATES FOR TOURS THROUGH YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARKThe rates for the 2'/2 day tours of Yellowstone National Park are as follows: (For Tour No. 16, Cody-Red Lodge, and Tour No. 33, Victor-Red Lodge, see Note A below).$50.70 for tours via hotels, covering motor bus transportation, meals and lodging (based upon double
occupancy without bath) for the 2'/2-day tour, except that entering or leaving via Red Lodge(applies in one direction only) the rate is $5.00 higher; entering or leaving via Victor (applies inone direction only) the rate is $8.50 higher. The 2J^-day tours have been developed to meet the demand for trips which will enable visitors to seethe main points of interest in the Park in the shortest possible time. In making the schedules for these tours,the following factors necessarily have been taken into consideration: times of arrival and departure oftrains at the various gateways, daylight hours available, necessary stops at many points of interest, meal

hours, etc. but it is believed that some visitors may want to stay longer. There is no additional charge fortransportation for stop-overs on any of the standard tours. The additional meals and lodgings for suchstopovers will be charged at the regular authorized rates shown in Section 12 (b), Page 13.
Tour Tickets: Through tickets including rail transportation to and from the Yellowstone ParkGateways and tours within Yellowstone Park may be sold by the addition of the amount shown hereincovering tour desired within the Park, to the rail fare to the Yellowstone Park Gateways in accordancewith current rail tariffs.
Tickets covering standard tours through the Park may be purchased locally at the Park Gatewaysby the holders of revenue rail tickets at the amounts shown in this section. For rates for holders of freerail transportation, see Section 14.
For ready reference, rates for the various standard tours (including hotel accommodations) fromrail gateways, through the Park to the same or other rail gateways are as shown on Page 6, Section 10.
$25.00 for the tour including ONLY motor bus transportation except that entering or leaving viaRed Lodge (applies in one direction only) the rate is $5.00 higher; entering or leaving via Victor(applies in one direction only), rate is $8.50 higher.
These rates do not include federal tax of I0''y which is applicable only on value of motor bus transpor-tation charge included in Park tour. See Section 10 for cost of tours and federal tax.
All hotel rates are based on a daily rate including meals and lodging. Guests will be charged for mealsserved between time of registering and time of checking out whether or not meals are taken.
Additional Days:—-Reservation for any additional days at Mammoth, Old Faithful or Canyon Hotelsshould be made in advance with Yellowstone Park Company, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, and,at the time of confirmation, the Yellowstone Park Company will advise the additional amount to becollected. A prepaid or exchange order should then be drawn on the Yellowstone Park Company for thetotal, covering the Park tour and cost of such additional days. Be sure to indicate value of prepaidor exchange order. Passengers will follow transportation schedules shown in Section 1 I and should notifytransportation agent or clerk when they arrive at hotel at which they hold reservation for the extra nightor nights.
Teton National Park Accommodations (Also see Section 12 (e) Page 13 for side trip arrange-ments from Old Faithful) Meals and Lodging at Jackson Lake Lodge (Grand Teton National Park) orVictor, Idaho, are not included in any of the Park Tours with the exception of lunch day of entry and dinnerday of exit. Stopovers are permitted and accommodations at Jackson Lake Lodge or Jenny Lake Lodge maybe arranged for by addressing the Grand Teton Lodge Company, Jackson, Wyoming, after May 9th. Taxes:- The rates shown in this circular do not include Wyoming sales tax of 2% on value of mealsfurnished, which will be collected at Park entrance. This tax is also applicable to anything purchasedin the Park within the boundaries of the State of Wyoming.
SECTION 6. RATES FOR CHILDRENThrough tickets covering RAIL transportation only may be sold for children of half-fare age (five
and under twelve years) at one-half the adult fares.THROUGH TICKETS MAY BE SOLD INCLUDING MOTOR BUS TRANSPORTATION
AND HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS WITHIN THE PARK FOR CHILDREN UNDER TWELVE(12) YEARS OF AGE ONLY AFTER RECEIPT OF CONFIRMATION FROM YELLOWSTONEPARK CO.
The Yellowstone Park Co.-Yellowstone Park Lines, Inc., also the Grand Teton Lodge Company- -Transportation Division, will make one-half rate for transportation of children five years and undertwelve years of age. No charge will be made for transportation of children under 5 years unless occupyingseat in Bus.
The Yellowstone Park Co. will make one-half rate (approximately) covering meals and lodging forchildren 3 years and under 8 years of age. (See Section 12 (b). Any service requested at hotels for childrenunder 3 years of age will be charged for on basis of service rendered.

SECTION 12.GENERAL INFORMATION AS TO TOURS WITHIN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK
(a) BaggageThe Yellowstone Park Company-Yellowstone Park Lines, Inc., and the Grand Teton Lodge Company—
Transportation Division will carry free, two pieces of hand baggage for each person, not exceeding 60 Ibs. intotal weight. Additional pieces of hand baggage, for complete tour of Park—$1.00 each. There is no arrange-ment for carrying trunks into the park. See Section 8 for baggage checking arrangements when passengersenter the park at one gateway and leave via another, also Section 9 for waiving of baggage storage charges atPark gateways and other points while passengers are making the Park trip.
Liability of the transportation companies for loss of, or damage to suitcases or hand baggage in the park,is limited to $25.00 for each piece of baggage. Passengers desiring additional protection for baggage mayobtain an insurance policy at small cost from the transportation agent at the Park Gateway or in the Parkat the various stations.
(b) Rates for Superior Hotel Accommodations and for Extra Meals and Lodging at HotelsWhen passengers desire superior hotel accommodations on standard tours or desire to make stopovers
at points within Yellowstone Park beyond the time provided for in the schedules of the tours, the chargesfor meals and lodgings will be as follows:
The hotel rates per day including meals and lodgings in connection with Park Tours, are as follows:1 person in a room without bath—$1 1.85.2 or more persons in one room without bath, each person—$10.35.
Hotel rates per day, including meals and providing for room with private bath, are:1 person in a room, $14.35 and $15.35, according to location.2 persons in one room, $1 1.85 and $12.35 per person, according to location.3 persons in two rooms with bath between, $12.70 and $13.35 per person, according to location.3 persons in one room, with bath, $1 1.35 and $1 1.85 per person, according to location.4 persons in two rooms with bath between, $1 1.60 and $1 1.85 per person, according to location.All hotel rates are based on a daily rate including meals and lodging. (d) Wearing ApparelSudden changes in temperature are experienced, particularly after sundown, because of the altitude in Yellowstone Park
Tourists who desire comfort should have fall weight clothing and a sweater or medium-weight overcoat. Colored glasses and glovesprove invaluable while motoring, and heavy-soled shoes for walking trips are a convenience. Many tourists we^r riding or outingclothes during the entire Park tour. /

Walking parties for sight-seeing trips are arranged without charge under the supervision of RangerNaturalists at Mammoth Hot Springs, Old Faithful, and Canyon.
(i) Postal Facilities
The main Post Office in the Park is Yellowstone Park, Wyo., located at Mammoth Hot Springs.Mail should be addressed in care of Mammoth Hotel, Old Faithful Inn, Canyon Hotel, Yellowstone Park,Wyo. Unless specifically addressed in care of particular hotel, general delivery mail addressed to Yellow-stone Park, Wyo., is held at the main Post Office at Mammoth Hot Springs to be called for, or, on request,will be forwarded to any hotel.
(j) Telegraph and Telephone
Telegraph and telephone service between all hotels.Telegraph and cable service to all parts of the world.There are several telegraph stations in the Park—namely:
Yellowstone Park, Wyo., located at Mammoth Hotel.Old Faithful Inn. Canyon Hotel.
Messages should be addressed to the telegraph station in the Park at which the addressee will be atthe time the telegram is received, such as—"John Jones, Old Faithful Inn, Yellowstone Park, Wyo."
Telegrams addressed simply "Yellowstone Park, Wyo.," are received at the office at Mammoth Hotel,and every effort made to locate addressee in the Park. When party is located at some other point, deliveryof message entails a forwarding charge.
Money transfers are handled at all hotel offices in the Park.
Long distance telephone service to all parts of the United States in connection with the Bell System.

(k) Church ServicesChurch services are ordinarily held in the Park on Sundays at Mammoth Chapel, Old Faithful and
Canyon.
The time at which these services will be held varies and inquiry should be made locally in the Park.These services are usually held during the period June 22 to August 24, inclusive.
