Culture research group had an insightful discussion

with students at Welingkar on the topic, “Design at

Scale: A New Paradigm for Tech Innovation”.

Prof. Ramesh Raskar engaged in an impelling session

with students from various b-schools, design schools

and medical institutes.

Through the session he elucidated on the need for a

linkage between various streams of work.

The session was in tandem with WeSchool’s focus on

design thinking. It concurs with their effort to guide

its students to break out of the conventional

framework and to come up with pragmatic

innovations for socio economic needs.

Prof Ramesh advised the students to focus their

energies on devising solutions for socially relevant

problems that will help the common man in various

aspects of life.

He also spoke about how the MIT research group has

pioneered in innovation through an amalgamation of

professional culture.

Prof. Uday Salunkhe, WeSchool once said “It’s a

distinctive approach which allows even greenhorns to

leapfrog and compete successfully with seasoned

players.”

more and more people are adopting the holistic

approach inherent in Design Thinking, an integral

part of which is a keen sense of social responsibility

while executing business and management
