•The training for the dogs where almost just like the same with people training for space.•Some of the training machines where a simulation the rocket taking off from in side the rocket.•Another fact about the dog is that it would have to be a small dog because the Sputnik was a small ship.•They sent dogs before but they did not live they died when they landed

The dog was the only one that could make it to space because the dog was the perfect fit for the ship.

But the Russians where thinking that the dog would not work because they have tried but they dogs have failed.

But when the dog was landing on a they were shocked that they dog has lived in space without dyeing.
