The objective of management education is to create managers who not only generate profits for their business organizations but also focus on ethical business practices for the good of society at large. As a management Institute of University of Mumbai, Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies (ADMIFMS) has consistently made efforts to impart value based management education.

The current challenge in front of business schools is to nurture management graduates that are employable. Industry expectations are rising as business environment is becoming more and more complex and dynamic with every passing year. It is important for the business students to realise that the companies which they aspire to join as managers are fighting not only domestic but also international competition. Students need to understand that in a dynamic world learning is a never ending process and each new problem is an opportunity to learn and acquire a new skill set.

ADMIFMS is making consistent efforts in nurturing business students that meet changing industry requirements. Institute crossed new milestones of achievements in the year 2014-15. The Institute has been awarded the ‘Education Leadership Award 2015’by ABP News. The award is conferred on the institute in recognition of its achievements in academics, marketing and industry-interface initiatives. This award is another feather in the cap for the institution. Institute, in past, has received several other awards in categories like; the ‘B-School with Excellent Industry-Interface’, the ‘Dewang Mehta Award for Best Academic (Input) syllabus in Finance’. These awards signify the trust and faith of stakeholders in the institute.

University of Mumbai welcomes corporate to its campus and hopes that industry-academia relationship will continue to grow resulting in positive dividends for all the stakeholders.

About Us

The ‘Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies’ is an institute of the ‘University of Mumbai’. The University has two management institutes namely ‘Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies’ and ‘Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies’. It was established in 1994 and offers under-graduate (B.M.S), post-graduate (M.M.S in the specialization of Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and Systems) and part-time (M.F.S.M) programmes. Recently, it has introduced a Ph.D programme in management. It is a full-fledged management institute located at the University of Mumbai’s, kalina campus.

The objective of the institute is to bridge the industry-academia relationship and produce effective managers who could lead the organizations with their humble attitude and management knowledge

A vibrant, cheerful, serene, and lush green atmosphere is what greets one as he enters ‘Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies’ at University’s Kalina Campus, it being University college. Apart from having the finest atmosphere it is also rated as one of the Institutes with excellent infrastructure and ambience.

With academic rigor, the college provides students the opportunity to develop their personality. We give our student ample freedom to come up with suggestions and innovations. It gives us a great pleasure to invite and welcome you at Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and

Management Studies for the campus placement program - Year 2015-16.

ADMIFMS is an Institute of University of Mumbai. Since its establishment in the year 1994 and

introduction of MMS Course in the year 2002, the Institute has been continuously involved in positive efforts to

develop students as per corporate expectations.

The ADMIFMS has accomplished faculty and good infrastructure. Institute also has very good interface

with industry and alumni. Our efforts are being recognized by Industry and this has resulted in good placements

over the last few years.

The Institute is striving to create future business leaders who can manage and create a powerful

organizations that can meet emerging market challenges. The course curriculum which has been recently

revamped is industry oriented and provides an exposure for students to strengthen their theoretical knowledge

with practical understanding. Institute also strongly believes in nurturing ethical managers who are morally

Our Institute Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies is aInstitute of

Mumbai University, at Vidyanagari Campus. We conducts the Mumbai University MMS (Masters in

Management Studies) Full Time Programme. We offer Specialisations in the Management areas of Finance,

Marketing, Operations, Human Resources and Informtion Technology.

The faculty of the Institute prepares a knowledge based work force comparable to the best in the country,

who are familiar with cutting edge ideas of the trade and have a single minded agenda of becoming future

business leaders.

Rigorous evaluation and regular assessments of students academics, corporate interaction and

systematic blending of theory with real world experience are incorporated in the pedagogy.

Our campus vibrates with various seminars, grooming sessions , conferences and other co-curricular
