About Information Technology Department

We started our journey in the year of 2001.

Innovation with intellectual mind is essential in order to become

a talented IT professional. The world of education is changing as

the modern world continues to grow. In this modern day and age,

information technology plays a big role. Information Technology

is one of the most promising and rewarding field. Information

technology is the study and use of systems for storing, retrieving,

and sending information. This can include software, hardware,

applications, and so much more. Business, education, and even

healthcare have all been redesigned, thanks to information

technology. Due to the importance and reputation of IT, the

present age is sometimes referred to as information technology

age.

HOD Information Technology Department

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of Information Technology. An Information

Technology degree is one of the most aspired degrees today for both undergraduate and post

graduate students.Information Technology can be used widely in all the sectors of the economy and

even in the education sector so it has become the most preferred career option all over the world. It

offers a bright future for the innovative and growth oriented students.One of our main objectives is to

overcome the gap between theories and practical that will help them to become career-oriented and

to work at global level.The motto of our department is to provide quality education. Our Academic

Staffs are all well qualified in the relevant areas. Academic standards, practical work, self-discipline

and responsibility are the some key parameters as far as the Department is concerned.I wish all the

Students and Faculties a great academic career.

Tree Plantation

The Tree Plantation program was recently organized Information

Technology department which saw over 50 students with staff members

actively participated and planted more than 25 trees.

Social commitment awareness in the student, the department has taken

an initiative of Tree Plantation. At AISSMS's ITI Boribhadak student

and teachers together planted more than 25 trees.

This activity is conducted on 21/07/2018

Personality Development

With this motive AISSMS’s Polytechnic is tie up with the Institute of

Holistic Healing India, Pune and conducted various personality

development programs for as well as for faculty.

These programs cover the various aspect of personality

development like as: Knowing your personality, Communication skill,

Time Management, Aptitude Training, Interview Technique, Resume

Writing and much more for students.

For the faculty motivation we have conducted personality

development program on Team Building, Leadership, and Time

Management for Teaching and Non-teaching staff.

Counseling for Students&Teachers

Counselingplays an important role important for students and

faculties in bringing out the best in them. Through counseling, they are

given advice on how to deal with emotional conflict and personal

problems so that they can enjoy their duties and responsibilities.For this,

AISSM Society has arranged a counseling facility to all the staff of our

institute.

In AISSMS’s Polytechnic students are given proper counseling

on how to deal with personal problems which can impact their

studies.Throughsuch sessions, the students will be able to develop certain

problem-solving skills which help them deal with particular issues

surrounding their lives. In counseling, we focus on stay away from

addictions

The staffs of our institute are given proper counseling for doing their

work effectively and to live life stress free. These sessions also help staff

to live in peace and harmony with others at the institute.

BloodDonationCamp

On the Occasion of Teacher’s Day Blood Donation Awareness Camp was

organized jointly by AISSMS’s Institute of Management & Polytechnic in

collaboration with R G Gholap Blood Bank. The function was inaugurated

by hands of ShriMalojirajeChhatrapati, Hon. Secretary AISSMS, in

presence of, Shri Rode, Chairman Lions International, Pune and

ShriRohidasGholap, Director R G Gholap Memorial Blood Bank

Thalassemia Center, and Shri Suresh Shinde, Hon. Joint Secretary AISSMS

Different activities was conducted based on Blood Donation & Awareness

Camp. More than 150 students participated in blood donation drive There

were active participation by large number of students in various activities

like Rangoli competition, Slogan Competition, Poster making Competition,

Seminar on Hemoglobin Awareness, Seminar on Women Health, Debate on

Blood Donation and Hemoglobin Check up and many more. The program

was coordinated under the guidance of DrAbhijitMancharkar, Director

AISSMS IOM and Mr S KGiram, Principal AISSMS Polytechnic.

Parent Teachers Meeting

During the academic year, information

technology department invite parents to

come in for regular parent-teacher meetings.

In odd semester we held meeting on

30/7/18. In Even semester we held meeting

on 05/1/19.

Teacher’s Day Celebration Teachers' day is celebrated by

information technology department

students on 5th September 2018, the

birthday of the former President

SarvepalliRadhakrishnan, a well-

known scholar, teacher and promoter

of education. On this special day,

students celebrated the contribution of

teachers.

Engineer’s Day On 15 September every year as a tribute to the greatest

Indian Engineer Bharat

RatnaMokshagundamVisvesvaraya. His birthday, 15

September is celebrated as the Engineers day by IT

department & this event celebrate with Quiz competition

of students.

Industrial Visit

objectives of industrial visit is to provide students an insight regarding internal working of companies. We

know,theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics,
