    Dr. Christopher A. Brown, a professor of mechanicalengineering, has been a member of the faculty atWorcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) since 1989, wherehe teaches courses for industry on axiomatic design andis currently the director of WPI’s Surface MetrologyLab, WPI’s Center for Advanced Abrasive Processes

    Dr. Masahiko Mori is the president and representativedirector of Mori Seiki Co., Ltd. Dr. Mori holds a bachelor

    of mechanical sciencesdegree from KyotoUniversity and, in 2003,received a doctorate ofengineering from TokyoUniversity.

    Throughout his nearlythree decades atHalliburton, Rowell hasworked in variouspositions. He spent twoyears in quality control, 10years in the machine shopas a senior NC machinist,seven years as aprogrammer on the shop

    floor, three years as an NC programmer, and four yearsas a senior programmer working on CAM implementationand support.
