AdmissionsCGPS StudentsStudents are chosen for their emotional maturity, their ability to work in a

demanding academic setting, and their potential for growth in a social

environment devoted to creating an appreciation and concern for others.

Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School enrolls students without

regard to race, religion, color, national or ethnic origin or sexual

Open House: KindergartenOur Open House provides an opportunity for parents to obtain an overview

of the Kindergarten program. Please note that this Open House is not

obligatory and is not an opportunity to tour the school. Parents who file an

application will have an extensive tour of the school while their child is

nterviewed and an opportunity to meet with the Director of the Grammar

School and the Director of Admissions to answer any questions pertaining

to the school

Because of limited space, we request that you reserve a place by calling

the Admissions Office after Labor Day at (212) 749-6200 ext. 272.

Open House: Grade 9Our Open House provides an opportunity for both parents and students to

obtain an overview of the Prep School program. Attendance is optional.

Due to limited space we ask that you reserve a place by calling extension

(212) 749-6200, ext. 362 after Labor Day.

Grade 9 Open House is TBA

Kindergarten Open house is TBA
