About the Program This innovative program offers troubled women involved in the world of prostitution a chance at a normal life. Participants are given an opportunity to develop an alternative, crime-free lifestyle through programming, education, and trauma based treatment. Individual counseling for substance abuse, mental health issues, job skills, safe housing options, and other services are offered to those expressing a desire to exit the lifestyle.

Our Purpose

This program is designed for individuals involved in prostitution as an educational alternative to incarceration. This is a 15-Week course that offers didactic and therapeutic educational groups to enlighten, heal, and promote an

individual’s ability to recover and take charge of their lives.

In the safe, non-threatening environment of a classroom, we provide thought provoking information as well as tools and resources to facilitate the change process and empower each individual to make informed life choices for a healthier and successful future.

Utilizing the power of group therapy and group support, we will address each ind i v idua l ’s f am i ly background and experiences in childhood, in the lifestyle, and in the criminal justice system. Viewed as troubled individuals who have not necessarily chosen this brutal means of survival, several of our classes will focus on the personal and often traumatic childhood and adult histories of mental dysfunction, substance abuse, physical and sexual victimization, and interpersonal violence.
