Ken brings a unique background in real estate that spans the US and International

markets, including published articles in many real estate periodicals and as a

frequent panelist and guest speaker on technology in real estate, in addition to

teaching lead generation seminars. He works closely with Associated Realty of

the Americas (AREA) to represent the prestigious referral organization in Marin

County. AREA, which is headquartered in Arizona, is a non-fee based, high end

residential and commercial referral organization dealing with “high net worth

individuals” consisting of “by invitation only” hand-picked members from north

America as well as selected agents and companies throughout the world. He also

is a member of (CIPS) Certified International Property Specialists, a small

network of top global agents that share buyer and seller needs on a global level

– a great advantage to sellers wanting international exposure.

After moving to the Bay Area, Ken acquired his California Real Estate license in

3 months and closed 17 transactions in his first year selling. In 2004, he became

a recruiter for a national real estate firm in San Francisco, where he helped coach

and train their agents. He was awarded Team Leader of the Year for 2005 out

of 32 offices in northern California. In 2007, Ken joined the executive team at

McGuire Real Estate as Executive Vice President of Business Development,

where he recruited agents to the company and helped in the strategic efforts to

grow the business. After three years on the management team, Ken took the

opportunity to partner with a top-tier agent, Patricia Montag, to sell real estate in

Marin County, and move to Decker Bullock Sotheby’s International Realty due to

the well known international presence that will serve their clients best.

As a resident of Southern Marin, Ken is enjoying the outdoors lifestyle that Marin

has to offer and is learning more about sailing every day. He also enjoys playing

piano, good wine, fine food, the arts, tennis, hiking and skiing.
