A Note From Your Board
Larry E, Reider, President-Greens Board of Directors
Dear Greens Homeowner,
The Holiday period between Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years is always a very busy
time, and this year is no exception. Enjoy this time of year with family and friends.
Your Greens Board has also been busy during the past month,
The Ridge Oak remodel project is currently on schedule, and phase one is scheduled to be
completed by 12-15-17.
Phase one of the Magnolia tree replacement project on the south end of the Greens was com-
pleted on schedule.
At the November HOA Board meeting, your board took the following actions:
Approved a new management contract for 2018 with Kelly Management, a new contract
for 2018 with Wren-Kelly CPA for tax filings and financial work, and a contract with
Penney Landscape to complete the final phases of the Magnolia tree replacement pro-
ject in future planting seasons.
Tabled items for (a) new pool lights, (b) a proposed horseshoe pit, (c) resurfacing of the
shuffle board court, (d) repair pool decking, and (e) solar lighting for mail box areas un-
til we have sufficient financial information to make any decisions.
Heard three appeals regarding under age residents. Levied fines upon one of the residents.
Heard, and approved, an Architectural Landscape appeal from a resident.
Heard concerns from residents regarding non-residents illegally using the Brandy Rose
gate to cut through to Old River and/or White Lane. The board asked Kelly Manage-
ment to ask Trans West Security to increase security around these areas. We are glad to
report that the next day, Trans West security stopped several people trying to use the
Brandy Rose gate illegally, and refused entry to them. Trans West will continue in-
creased security patrols. Please be reminded to call Trans West Security if you see sus-
picious activity. Also, if Trans West is unresponsive, please call Kelly Management.
Speaking of gates, please thank the Social Committee for the great job they have done decorat-
ing our entry gates for Christmas. It looks very nice!
The Social Committee also is putting on our annual Christmas Party at Seven Oaks on Sun-
day, 12-17-17. It will be a fun event with good food, good friendship and music for danc-
ing. If you have not signed up, please contact the Social Committee soon.
Also, on Saturday 12-02-17, our Men’s Club is holding another delicious pancake breakfast at
White Oak. Admission is one new, unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marine Corps “Toys for
Tots’ campaign. Like previous Men’s Club pancake breakfasts, this one promises to be
good food and good fellowship. Please try to attend.
On behalf of your Greens HOA Board, please have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New
Year!!
See you next year……………………..
