Mountain Vista Rams,

As we finish up the month of November and begin December, we have so much to be thankful for. We are honored to be able to educate your child(ren) and are thankful that you have entrusted in us their education as well as helping to mold their futures.

Last month, we had our very first awards Renaissance assembly of the school year. Our school mascot enjoyed celebrating all of the successes our students had first quarter. The Renaissance program recognizes students for academic excel-lence, attendance, behavior, and homework completion. Students who qualify for a Renaissance card (gold, bronze, silver, red) for 1st quarter were announced dur-ing the assembly and receive special privileges throughout the quarter such as dress downs, popcorn, extra recess, homework passes, and much more! We hope to see more students recognized next quarter!

Families, it has been such a pleasure meeting you whether that has been in passing before/after school, during one of our family events, or even through phone calls. Please don’t hesitate to reach out or stop by to meet us if you haven’t already. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and we are thankful that you have chosen Mountain Vista Community School.

Student Success and Nothing Less,

Angela Valdez, Principal

Tamie Hollon, Assistant Principal

Doug Larkey, Assistant Principal

Josh Stewart, Assistant Principal
