Dear prayer partners in our ministry, Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. We are thankful for your partnership with us in our ministry. It is a joy to share with what God is doing through your prayerful support. Thank for your prayers for the Bible reading. We read Psalm 101-150, and the book of Jonah. At the end we placed our hands on the Bible we used. It’s the newest Chinese translation of the Bible which is helping this generation. We want to share the story of the five-color-bean bracelets. Our Sunday school worked together for over a month to make these bracelets. The first purpose is to train our children to know how to share gospel using the five colors. The second purpose was to raise support for Sandy to go to Papua New Guinea. Sandy left July 4th with another missionary and will return to Taiwan September 25th. Praise the Lord for Kaven, our Sunday school teacher who really believes that mission education starts with the children. We want to share with you about our mission trips to Myanmar. When we were aware of a need for a worker to serve in an orphanage in Myanmar for one month, Julia responded very quickly. She is first year college student. Julia will stay in Myanmar for three weeks, and then Heidi and her son Samuel will go to help for two weeks. Please pray for these three servants that they will be able to serve and adjust to this environment. This area of Myanmar lacks water and electricity, and has a lot of mosquitoes. Last Saturday we had ten people join in prayer walking to pass out our church information with a verse Hebrew 13:5. We divided into groups of two and went to five areas. We experienced some people who refused and some people accepted and even gave thanks. Praise the Lord the rain held off until we were indoors. Last month we spent a couple days in Taipei to visit Lily’s family. We gathered together at the cemetery for a memorial service. Most Chinese people do ancestor worship but we believers do the memorial service to honor our ancestors. Some of Lily’s family are not Christians, so this is always a testimony to them. We are thankful for two people who will help in the church while we are in the US. Grace and Jack will take part time to help our assistant pastor Joycelyn. Pray for them to work together with one heart. Pray for the church grow strong and healthy while we are in US.
