REPORT , REVIEW AND RESULT !!!!!

5th June 2020 , Friday

The Road to Recovery - Moving Beyond Conservation

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global

awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It

is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).

This year the theme of World Environment Day 2020 is “Celebrate Biodiversity”.

“With 1 million species facing extinction, there has never been a more important time

to focus on biodiversity.”

As our hounorable Principal Dr.S.Antonyraj rightly says - that apart from academic

excellence the great focus should be on psychological, moral and spiritual realms. We

here at JHASV leave no stone unturned to bring the best out of the students. The

students creative involvement on such occassions has marked the success of great

endeavors envisioned by our Sir and accomplished by the cumulative and collaborative

efforts of the teachers

Diversity". The competition offered the students a great chance to express their views on

the need to conserve nature and protect it. The children exhibited their talent and

enthusiasm through their virtual videos. Science teachers of Primary Section supported

and guided earnest efforts of students diligently.

Mother Earth has bestowed so much love, freedom and peace upon us but we, her

children have never cared imposing so much pain on her therefore Mother Nature took

it upon herself to heal herself. She has quarantined all of us within our homes so that

she heals and we breathe back in the freshness of nature. Our science department along

with our primary teachers prepared a PDF on how we have been inducing pain to

nature and the promise to nurture nature and beautify it for wellness of all.

another thought provoking video on how we humans silence the trees and thereby

silence the music and the soul of living creatures.

CLASSES - IX & X

The fate of the entire planet is now dependent upon a single species - humans. Beyond

the current human tragedies, one can at least hope that Covid-19 has had the positive

effect of raising this awareness.

As we are in process of integrating ourselves into the “next world” the world after

for biodiversity. The students of classes IX & X came together to make this possible.
