A warm welcome

We know how difficult it can be to care for your loved one and still go out to work each day, especially if they are frail or suffer from dementia. This is why we created the UK’s very first workplace day centre, providing a safe and happy place for up to 20 adults every weekday.

Our day centre promotes independence and wellbeing, which is why we also welcome those who are more independent, who may benefit from socialising and participating in organised activities and outings.

Nutritious foodEvery day our members enjoy a freshly cooked hot lunch. Menus can be tailored to suit individual requirements, and tea, coffee and soft drinks are always available throughout the day.

Our teamOur experienced, qualified care team ensures the standard of care we provide is consistently high. We pride ourselves in employing dedicated and trained staff, who know and understand our members needs very well.

ActivitiesWe provide a daily activity programme shaped around the aims and aspirations of members and their past hobbies. From arts and crafts sessions to concerts from visiting musicians and comedians, indoor games, pampering sessions and social outings, there’s always something to enjoy. Members can also enjoy fresh air and sunshine relaxing in our secure garden area.

“My Dad has been attending the Ben Day Centre for just over a year since my Mum passed away. Dad has dementia and Mum was his main carer. The Ben Day Centre has been our saving grace and gives us peace of mind knowing dad is well cared for whilst we are at work. All of the staff are excellent with Dad and are brilliant at dealing with all of the everyday challenges that dementia brings. He needs consistency, patience and understanding and the Ben Day Centre staff provide this in bucket loads. We are always informed and consulted if there are any changes or concerns that need to be dealt with in partnership with the centre. They do a fantastic job and we can’t thank them enough."
