PROCESS AND IDEATIONIdeation is the creative process of generating, developing, and communicating new ideas. In this hands-on workshop students will participate in a series of conceptually focused rapid drawing tasks that encourage sideways thinking, creative play and multiple idea generation.

MOTION DESIGNUsing Adobe Photoshop and After Effects you will combine photomedia, typography and vector graphics to create an educational motion design video that communicates an interesting fact.

DESIGN AND BUILD WEBSITE IN 2 HOURSIn the past people have had to spend years learning to code to create websites. Now with Adobe Muse designers can create a website even if they have no coding experience. In this session you will use Adobe Muse to design and build yourown simple website using drag-and-drop tools.

PAPER LAB: THE LOVE OF VINYLUsing the principles of design, students will explore the creative process through an engaging hands-on activity, interpreting a music genre of their choice. This workshop is an opportunity to give participants a glimpse into the design making process through the exploration of image-making techniques,including mark-making, drawing, collage, colour, texture and type, applying it to a 12" album cover design.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® In this hands-on workshop learn more about how LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® can increase innovation, creativity and problem solving. LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® taps into the human ability to imagine – to describe and make sense of the problem at hand, to initiate change and improvement, and maybe to create something radically new. Each participant builds their own 3D LEGO® model in response to the facilitator's questions using specially selected elements. These 3D models serve as a basis for group discussion, knowledge sharing, problem solving and decision-making.

3D MAKER EXPERIENCELearn about new 3D printing technologies that are transforming our world! This workshop covers how to use SolidWorks to create parts and assemblies and includes a practical guide to creating models for 3D printing and gettingthose files printed.
