Meet the STUNT Coaches
Head Coach – Celia Allen-Hames Hames is in her fourth season as head coach and seventh season with Davenport University Cheer and STUNT overall. She has previously served as an assistant coach for Davenport for three years in which the team won the 2013, 2014, and 2015 NCA National Championship. In addition, they captured the STUNT National Championship in 2014. As head coach of Davenport, she coached the team to a 2016 and 2017 NCA National Championship as well as a STUNT National Championship in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Hames serves as a Director of Champion Cheerleading and is a
former Varsity coach at Holland West Ottawa High School. She
is a former cheerleader of Grand Valley State University and a competitive USAG
Gymnast.

Assistant Coach - Amber Gniewek
Gniewek is a graduate and former athlete of Davenport University.
She was a member of the team during the second year of the
programs existence and an athlete on the first NCA National
Championship team in 2013.
Gniewek participated as an athlete in STUNT the Sport and won a
Division 1 National Championship at Oklahoma State University in
2014.
This is Gniewek’s third year as assistant coach for Davenport
University. During that time, she helped coach the program to 2 NCA National
Championships and 2 STUNT National Championships. In addition, Gniewek works
as a Director for Champion Cheerleading.

Assistant Coach – McKenzie Jackson
Kenzie was an athlete at Davenport University. She was a STUNT
National Champion 2015, 2016, 2017, an NCA National
Champion 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and a STUNT All American
in 2015 and 2016.
This is Jackson’s second year as assistant coach for Davenport
Cheer and STUNT. During her time with the Panthers she has
led the team to a STUNT National Championship and Varsity
STUNT National Championship in 2018.
Assistant Coach – Sara Stevelinck
Sara Pierce-Stevelinck was an athlete at Davenport University
on the Cheer and STUNT team. She was a STUNT National
Champion in 2015, 2016, and 2017 as well as an NCA National
Champion in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. This is Sara's
first year as assistant coach for the DU Cheer and STUNT Team.
