DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS PROCESS TEMPLATE
INTRODUCTION TO DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONSThe training industry is finding it more and more important to use data in order to make decisions about future training strategies.
The reality is that data persuades more than anything else.
Data can show the decision-makers at your company that training is more than just a compliance check. It’s an effective and valid part of business strategy.
Luckily, there is a process for data-driven decision making – DDDM. This worksheet will help you work through this process along with examples from a training environment.
Read our full post on DDDM for more details on how the process works.

What tools do I have (or need) for collecting and analyzing LMS data? Example: xAPI data. Supervisor-completed job performance evaluations. Secret shoppers. LMS data visualization engine. A learner record store.

What recommendations am I planning on making to each of these people? Example: Invest more money in video training, as it teaches consistent customer service 30% more often than other types of training.
