Enhancements to the Dartmouth College Retirement Plans*Both Fidelity Investments and TIAA will continue to be available investment and service providers to which you can direct your contributions. Faculty and staff who contribute to TIAA may continue to do so—nothing will change, and you will not be required to re-enroll in the Plan.

Effective July 1, 2020, any changes to your contribution amounts and/or investment provider elections will be made on the Dartmouth College Retirement Planning website at www.netbenefits.com/Dartmouth or by calling the Retirement Service Center at 800-343-0860. No action is required, and your contributions will continue to be invested with your selected investment provider and in your current investment options.

2

Effective July 1, 2020, Fidelity Investments® will support the enrollment process and provide additional ongoing recordkeeping services for retirement plan participants, regardless of the investment service provider. You will no longer be able to make a change to your contribution amount or to change your investment service provider through the FlexOnline benefits system. Inside are details about the changes coming your way and how this will affect you.

Get Ready for the Changes Ahead

PLAN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE CHANGE

Dartmouth College monitors the Plans’ costs, investment options, and features to look for areas of possible improvement. We are pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2020, the quarterly administrative fee will be reduced at each retirement provider.

Fidelity Investments

The quarterly administrative fee will be reduced from $68 per year to $57 per year. This recordkeeping fee will be deducted quarterly following the end of the previous quarter. The quarterly administrative fee will appear as a line item on your quarterly statements.

TIAA

The annual administrative fee is changing from 4.2 basis points to $55 per year. This will result in a decrease in cost for most participants. This recordkeeping fee will be deducted quarterly following the end of the previous quarter. The fee will appear on your quarterly statements.
