Performs for School Board Meeting Congratulations to all the Dardanelle band students for a great year at solo and Ensemble. Solo and Ensemble Participants By: Heather Gordon The Dardanelle Renaissance Restoration held a local talent competition on Saturday, March 15, at the Dardanelle Commu- nity Center. There were two different age groups, one consisted of children up to age 15, and the other was adults ages 15 and up. First, second, and third places were announced after both age groups completed their talents. For the children’s division first place went to Jimmy Abarca, second was Chloe Fulton, and third place went to Jesus, Mario, and Leonel Mendez. In the adult’s category Heather Gordon won first place, second place went to Katherine Mar- tinez, and third was Kara Kelly- brew. Total contestants all together were 14, four for the adults and 10 for the children. Also three judges evaluated each perform- ance. Kyle Wyatt, Corey Austin, and Pedro Garza were the se- lected judges of the talent com- petition. Names of all participants are as follows: Gloria Wilfong, Amy Smith, Ivy Pierce, Ema Stan- dridge, Chloe Fulton, Patricia Grace McIntyre, Jesus, Mario, and Leonel Martinez, Jimmy Abarca, Payton Hales, and Michelle Simmons. For the adult division the con- testants were Heather Gordon, Katherine Elizabeth Martinez, Kara Kellybrew, and Kody Graf. The Dardanelle RenaissanceRestoration held a local talentcompetition on Saturday, March15, at the Dardanelle Commu-nity Center.

There were two different agegroups, one consisted of childrenup to age 15, and the other wasadults ages 15 and up.

First, second, and third placeswere announced after both agegroups completed their talents.

For the children’s division firstplace went to Jimmy Abarca,second was Chloe Fulton, andthird place went to Jesus, Mario,and Leonel Mendez.
