Dear Friends,We look forward to welcoming you back to The Wallis for the 2018-2019 Season, or welcoming you for the very first time.

This season we are happy to bring back old friends such as Jacob Jonas The Company, which will be our Company-in-Residence this season. It is great to be collaborating again with For The Record on Love, Actually, as well as to be developing the new musical Witness Uganda with creators Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews.

We’re equally excited to be working with new friends. L.A. Master Chorale, National Sawdust from New York, Malpaso Dance Company from Cuba, Pig Pen Theater Company, and Film Independent will all be joining us for the first time.

We are also bringing to Los Angeles the National Theatre of Great Britain’s Tony and Olivier Award-winning production of An Inspector Calls, directed by Stephen Daldry. It is among the most remarkable and unique productions of modern times. Not to be missed.

As you can see our relationships are across both the country and the world, and it is with great pride that we are able to invite so many great artists and companies to our wonderful Performing Arts Center in Beverly Hills. There are too many to mention them all, but we value every single artist that is appearing in our new season.

The relationship with our community is equally important, as we continue to grow and develop as a creative and educational space. We value our partners, collaborators and educators, exploring new and innovative ways of working together. Arts learning, alongside the work on our stages, is at the core of everything we do, creating remarkable opportunities and experiences for all ages.

And most importantly we value you, our audience.

Thank you for your continued support.

“A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THE MASTER CHORALE... AND A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR MUSIC HISTORY.” - Los Angeles Times

MUSIC@ THE WALLIS

From the creative mind of acclaimed director Peter Sellars comes his very first a capella staging and most personal and emotionally-charged work to date. Twenty-one singers transform this 75-minute Renaissance masterpiece — committed to memory and dramatically staged — into both a biblical parable of St. Peter’s disavowal of Jesus Christ and a contemporary allegory for our fractious times.

The Wallis believes everyone deserves to learn and grow through the arts...Arts learning is integral to all that we do at The Wallis: connecting audiences with the very best in the performing arts; investing in young artists; using the power of the arts to address important social issues; and responding to critical needs in the greater community through arts leadership, collaboration and partnership. These efforts are informed and inspired by the artists and art forms we present on our stages.
