To withstand the brutal punishment of the desert, Summit Machine’s race hubs aredesigned with the highest load rated bearings and the largest diameter spindle wecould fit within these tight constraints. The hub and wheel alignment cone aremachined from aerospace grade aluminum. Wilwood brake packages are availablewith 4- or 6-piston calipers and fixed or floating rotors.
The drive plate is machinedfrom 300m chromoly steelwith an 8 on 6-1/2 lugpattern.
Massive Timken® bearings witha 10 percent higher load rating.(When compared to a standardDana60 inner bearing. )
2-5/8” diameter spindlemachined from heat treated chromoly steel.
