Introduction Malone Associates are one of the leading UK experts in damp investigation and remediation. We have been teaching the subject since 2006 and currently teach the subject to undergraduates at Coventry University and Surveyors and Maintenance/technical officers across the UK. Our current client list includes Metropolitan Housing, Islington & Shoreditch Housing Association, Wrexham Borough Council, Wrekin Housing Trust, and many more. We would like to offer you this course at an incredibly reasonable rate of £195.00 per course attendant. Maximum of 15 course participants, minimum of 6 and the maximum number of staff you will pay for is 13. This means you can have 15 staff trained for a one off cost of £2535.00. A cost which will recoup itself many times over as soon as your staff put their newly acquired knowledge to good use in your properties. We genuinely believe that that this is the best value training you will buy in this year and that as a one day course, what we offer is the best available in the UK. We have outlined the course content and objectives below. Outline of Course Content This is an intensive but enjoyable 8 Hour training course dealing with the principles of damp investigation and remediation. Candidates will be taught some basic construction technology, they will be taught the difference between the raincoat and overcoat principle, traditional and non- traditional buildings and why damp remedial techniques differ for new and historic buildings. Candidates will learn about salts analysis and why this is important to the diagnostic process. Candidates will learn the basics of leak investigation, how to trace leaks on incoming water mains, drainage systems and central heating systems. Candidates will learn the science of condensation, the affects of condensation damp, the causes and the investigation process.
