DAILYPRAYER CALENDARWITH BIBLE READING CALENDAR2019 - 2020
PRAYER“But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”Acts 6:4
Kindly use this Daily Prayer Calendar to join with other members and friends — from around the world — in praying specifically for our ministry, its leaders, and those people that we have yet to reach with the gospel.
Each and every day, your prayers will be joined together with those of more than 162 800 Gideons and 94 900 Auxiliary in 200 countries and territories.
Let us devote ourselves to prayer, personal witnessing and the distribution of God’s Word.
SEVENSPIRITUALOBJECTIVES
HOUR OF POWER
We are:Men and women of the Word.Men and women of faith.Men and women of prayer.Men and women of separated walk.Men and women of compassionate heart.Men and women who witness.Men and women who give.
Remember the following two special prayer meetings:
DAY OF HUMBLE SUBMISSIONSATURDAY, 01 FEBRUARY 2020
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYERSATURDAY, 13 JUNE 2020
Join your camp and members around the world for this special time of prayer.
As time permits, set aside a few moments to pray for the activities of The Gideons International each day between 07:00 and 08:00.
FROM THENATIONAL CHAPLAINGood day,
Each morning, Gideons and Auxiliary members use this calendar as we unanimously pray for members around the world, as well as for those people whom the Association’s activities will impact through what we do.
Praying regularly is a discipline that not only empowers our efforts, but also brings us closer together in one spirit and one mind. This unity is the result of successfully accepting our motto: “Striving together for the Faith of the Gospel - One Spirit, One Mind, One Vision.”
Another way to be united in spirit and mind is to stay focused on the Word of God. As an aid to this end, a Bible reading calendar has been included in the back of this booklet so that you can read the Bible in one year.
Prayer and Bible reading are disciplines that are vital to your mental health and your influence in the world as a member of The Gideons International.
Note that countries indicated in orange are still closed to The Gideons International. China is indicated in green as it is partially open to The Gideons International.
May God bless you as you serve Him in this assosiation.
