ExecutiveSummaryThisdeliverablepresentsthemaincomponentsoftheprojectshowcase.TheEDSAshowcasebringstogetheraselectionofthemostimportantoutcomesoftheproject,therebyimportanceisunderstoodinrelation to theproject’sDoA,butalsoconsidering the impactof theartefact in therealworld.Assuch, theEDSAshowcaseconsistsofcomponents thatareat thecoreofourworkplan,butarealsorepresentative for the project in the data science community. 2. EDSAShowcaseThe EDSA showcase brings together a selection of the most important outcomes of the project,consistingof components that are at the coreof ourworkplan, but are also representative for theprojectinthedatasciencecommunity.

Allpartsoftheshowcasearefreelyavailableonlinetoviewanddownload.Itisrecommendedtostartwiththeprojectwebsite,whichcanbeusedasastartingpointtoexplorethecontentoftheshowcaseanditsmaincomponents.

The project website is hence the first component of the showcase. It is a key part of our onlineappearanceandanimportantdisseminationinstrument.It isdescribedintermsoffunctionalityandimpactinD4.1(M1).Thewebsiteisavailableathttp://edsa-project.eu/(seeFigure1).

The second componentof the showcase is theEDSAdashboard,which enablesusers to explore thecurrent data science skills demandand supply. The EDSA dashboard is presented indetail in D1.5(M36).Thedashboardisavailableathttp://edsa-project.eu/resources/dashboard/(seeFigure2).

TheEDSAcurriculumcomprisesof15coredatasciencetopicsthathavebeendeliveredbytheproject.The curriculumhasbeen revised andupdated throughout thedurationof theproject. Thedifferentversions of the curriculum have been documented in D2.1 (M6), D2.2 (M18) and D2.3 (M30). TheEDSAcurriculumisavailableathttp://edsa-project.eu/resources/curriculum/.

The EDSA courses portfolio consists of a variety of data science courses, offered by renownedinstitutionsbothinsideandoutsidetheprojectconsortium.Thesecoursesareavailableas:

• MassiveOpenOnlineCourses (MOOCs):Theseareonlinecoursesaimedatunlimitedparticipationand open access on the web. They are available on external MOOC platforms, includingFutureLearnandCoursera.

• Face-to-face courses: These courses are taught face-to-face. Face-to-face learning (or in-personlearning)isanyformofinstructionalinteractionthatoccurs“inperson”andinrealtimebetweenteachersandstudentsoramongcolleaguesandpeers.

• Online courses: These courses are taught online via LearningManagement Systems (LMSs) likeMoodleor Sakai.A subset of these courses consists of self-study learningmaterials available as

OpenEducationalResources (OERs),which learners can studyat their ownpace, as there isnopredeterminedstartorenddate.

• Blended courses:These courses are taught in a blendedway (face-to-face and online). Blendedlearningisaformaleducationprograminwhichastudentlearnsatleastinpartthroughdeliveryofcontentandinstructionviadigitalandonlinemediawithsomeelementofstudentcontrolovertime,place,path,orpace.

TheEDSAcoursesareavailablevia:

• TheEDSAcoursesportal,whichallowsuserstofinddatasciencecoursesbasedonafacetedsearchinterface,aswellasfollowandpersonaliselearningpathways.TheEDSAcoursesportalhas been presented in D2.4 (M12) and is available at http://courses.edsa-project.eu (seeFigure3).

• VideoLectures (http://videolectures.net), a free and open access educational video lecturesrepository, hosting lectures given by distinguished scholars and scientists at the most

important and prominent events, such as conferences, summer schools, workshops andsciencepromotionalevents.

• VariousMOOCplatforms,includingFutureLearn(https://www.futurelearn.com)andCoursera(https://www.coursera.org).

The EDSA values define the principles that the EDSA curriculum and courses adhere to. The EDSAvalues also comprise a set of best practices that can be used as guidelines generally for thedevelopment of online courseware. The EDSA values are available at http://edsa-project.eu/overview/edsa-values/.

Theprojecthasproducedand curatedanumberof datasets,whichare available todownload fromhttp://edsa-project.eu/resources/datasets/.

To promote its activities, the project has used a mixture of hosting platforms and social mediachannels,whichtogethercontributetotheonlinereputationoftheproject.Theseare:
