● AugmentED MOOC -- Created and facilitated open online learning community and course that helped educators at various stages of their careers develop digital competencies.

● Teacher Outreach Project -- Developed and coordinated multi-year project in which preservice candidates serve colleagues in the field by integrating Web 2.0 tools into the latter’s lessons.

● Wickwire Pool Project -- Co-created and administered interdisciplinary, project-based community outreach project in which undergraduates from separate university courses collaborated to produce different types of multi- and social media content for an interactive webpage dedicated to conserving a local community pool.

● Free Cool Tools (and a Tech Assistant!) for Increasing Student Outcomes -- Collaborated with local K-12 administrator to conceptualize, secure funding for, and deliver workshop to interdisciplinary teams of K-12 teachers in which they developed a project-based learning module that could be supported through online social networking.

● Flat Classroom Project Collaboration -- Collaborated with local secondary teacher to secure funding for and coordinate her students’ semester-long participation in the Flat Classroom Project.

● Connecting Rural Schools for the 21st Century -- Co-coordinated with TST and OCM BOCES administrators a daylong workshop for rural area schools to explore ways to use social networking to collaborate and share resources.

● Reimaginging Girlhood Video Workshop -- Conceptualized, produced, and co-administered a 3-day video workshop in which teams of adolescent girls from the region, with support from their college student mentors, conceptualized, produced, and screened videos about their interpretation of girlhood to an international audience of Girls Studies scholars.

● 21st-Century Leadership Conference -- Conceptualized and collaborated with university colleague to

secure funding for, produce, and chair a daylong conference and teambuilding workshop that brought over 70 K-12 participants (administrators and “tech teams”) together with university administrators, technical support staff, and students to brainstorm and discuss issues of mutual concern regarding digital technologies and K-12 learning.

● ENG 307: New Media Literacies and the ELA Classroom and ENG 506: Computers and the Study of

English -- Designed curricula and assessments for twin undergraduate and graduate courses geared toward developing pre- and inservice teachers’ ability to evaluate ICT tools for learning, digital dispositions and advocacy, and use of digital tools for professional development.
