OUR PR CAMPAIGNS
WHAT DOES DIGITAL PR MEAN AT CYBER PR?
It means getting you into the blogosphere, onto podcasts, and mentioned on social media where ongoing conversations and critiques about / on new music and artists are happening. Reviews, spotlights, and news write ups, have online influencers and tastemakers talking about you. Written interviews on sites and blogs and live interviews on podcasts and on iRadio enable you to tell the media, and those immersing themselves in it, who you are, in your own words, as you develop your artistic personae.
Strengthened by strong engagement on social media, press gets you building connections with journalists and tastemakers. These connections are invaluable and can be used in the future when it comes time for your next release. Moving ahead, critics will be paying attention to you rather than you having reaching out to them because you will be in their trusted online community.
HOW DO WE OBTAIN THIS COVERAGE?
At Cyber PR we aren’t blindly pitching you to a list publications we’ve “heard of ”. We pitch you to writers and editors at outlets we actively read, care about, know inside out, and whose numbers’ are in our phones.
We don’t believe press releases are an effective way of reaching the digital media, and we won’t be blasting your hard work out to hundreds of blogs simultaneously with a cookie cutter pitch. This approach never yields results. Especially not for the indie artist.
Instead, we hand-craft a pitch for you depending on who we’re trying to reach, and what we are strategically asking for.
WHAT ARE WE ASKING FOR?
We know how to get you onto publications you might not be ready for yet, by knowing the unlabeled section where the indies go, who will take a guest post, the columns you’ll fit into, and how many interviews a month each publication takes.
OUR PITCH LIST
When curating our pitch list we keep in mind your genre, target demographic, and (if applicable) your geographical region. We pair you with blogs where your potential fans gravitate for music news. But, that being said, we also aren’t afraid to experiment, curate feedback from the bloggers (aka critics), and adjust our strategy appropriately.
DEBUT PROJECTS
We are sensitive to debut projects and will work to put your debut release on sites where people are actively looking to discover new artists. With all of the big celeb hoopla happening online it’s easy to get lost in the mix. We carefully place your music where it will be seen and heard.
NICHE PITCHING
Lastly, we know that to stand out amongst the thousands of artists shoving their way onto music blogs you need to craft a story and cultivate what separates you from the rest. In
the final third of our PR campaigns we focus our efforts on niche pitching. Through careful discussion we uncover your niches and hone in one or two in particular. Positioning you
as a voice on a particular issue or topic can make you a shark in a sea of tuna online.
