▪ Tournament rules:
▪ Forecasts will be made on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
by 00 UTC. There is no forecasting on Wednesday. I would still
put in a forecast at the begin of the week to make sure you don't
miss a forecast.
▪ It will be a head to head competition of the start to the end.
▪ Each round will last two days and the person with the better score
will move on. In case of ties the person that has the better score on
the second day advances
▪ It is single elimination. Once you lose you are done.
▪ If you miss a forecast during this period you are disqualified and
eliminated from the tournament.
▪ After each" round" the scores will be reset and it will only be how
you forecast against your new opponent. Your total score for the
city is not used to determine if you advance or not.
o Congratulations, Sean Spratley!
▪ Sean will receive a trophy after tying for first
place in the freshmen/sophomore category in
Bismarck, ND.

▪ Hometown?
• I was born in Lake City, Iowa, but I was raised in Fort Dodge,
Iowa. When I was 18, I moved to Guthrie, Oklahoma for 6 months
before coming to Iowa State.
▪ Favorite Music?
• my favorite music group is pentatonix. They are extremely
talented, and I love that they sound just the same live as they do in
a recording.
▪ Favorite Movie?
• my favorite movie has to be Hairspray. The songs are great, and
the story is really inspirational.
▪ Hobbies?
• singing is my biggest hobby. I'm always singing or humming
something! I also love to dance and draw in my free time.
▪ Favorite Sports Team?
• I will watch sports from time to time, but I don't have a favorite
team. My favorite sport to watch is Hockey.
▪ Favorite Weather Phenomenon?
• I absolutely love thunderstorms. The lightning strikes are so
exquisite, and thunder is powerful. I wouldn't mind spending my
day just watching a storm pass through.
▪ Favorite Season?
• Spring is my favorite season hands
down. Winter is a season where
people would rather be inside all
bundled up, and it's known as the
season that brings out depression.
When spring rolls around, the air
smells fresh, and people actually go
outside to hang out. I love see all the
diversity really stand out when it's spring time.
▪ Random Fun Fact?
• The most important fact to know about me is that I am obsessed
with the color yellow.
