Responsibilities: Ensure compliance to S&OP cycle - Maximum commitment/participation of all essential business functions (Sales, Marketing & Finance)
Coach and work with the Demand Planner to achieve business & personal objectives
Being a Key User of our ERP Forecast software Demantra, ensure maintenance and full utilization of the demand management module.
Prepare rolling 12M forecast for approx 700 SKUs considering historical sales and building blocks
Work with the regional sales team for 100% achievement of sales targets by assisting them with day to day operational/business requirements
Ensure effective communication of daily/weekly/monthly reports with detailed analysis and executive summary
Work closely with supply planning team to achieve regional availability Highlight improvement areas in the S&OP process and work on short & long term
projects to drive improvements Present the forecast outlook with analysis in the forecast validation/sign off

Demand Planner Unilever Pakistan Limited (UPL) January 2010 – December 2012
Responsibilities: Responsible for generating 8 quarter rolling SKU-wise forecast on weekly basis using SAP APO.
Ensure continuous improvement of forecasting methodology, assumptions and accuracy.
Generating and managing baselines and event calendars for over 100+ SKUs comprising of 5 brands.
Maintaining forecast bias with target of +/- 5% by using the forecast bias loss tree and focus action plans to eradicate the root cause of losses.
Monitor and control full pipeline inventories to ensure availability as per requirements and minimize business waste.
Execute smooth transition management of new innovations, re-launches & delisted SKUs.
