Description This research work introduces a covariate dependent mixture transition distri-bution model (CDMTD) for analyzing repeated measures data based on higherorder Markov chains with two or more outcomes. The estimation procedure forthe proposed model and the test for significance of the estimated parameters arediscussed. An application of the proposed model on the Health and RetirementSurvey (HRS) data is presented.
