What is an LED?An LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a light source that fi ts easily into an electronic circuit. Because LEDs are illuminated by the movement of electrons in semiconductor material, they last for an amazing amount of time, give off virtually no heat and don’t contain any hazardous substances. They can also produce many different colors of light, depending on what they are made of and how they are confi gured.
