ACI’s Drying Systems greatly improve drying speed and efficiency while reducing energy consumption.
Specially engineered to effectively remove residual moisture from water-cooled insulated wire, cable and extruded products, the new Cable Dryer and Profile Dryer combination remove and collect residual moisture.
Our blower-driven units greatly reduce noise level, improves drying efficiencies and cuts energy consumption compared to compressed air nozzle arrangements and other existing blower-driven devices available to the industry today.

ACI’s new Cable Dryer removes moisture on cable, wire and extrusion quench processes.
It is particularly effective in small diameter production where the system enables reliable production rates of up to 1,000 meters per minute.
Designed to achieve both major running cost savings and vastly improved cable and wire drying efficiencies, the unit brings the added benefit of reduced quality check failure rates and lower energy consumption.
Drying cable range: 0.2mm to 65mm
The unit is fully enclosed, adjustable and has a small footprint, 950mm long, which enables it to be easily installed into most production lines.
The Cable Dryer can be used independently of the Profile Dryer, which is most valuable in the production of small diameter cable, wire and extrusion.
The unit is available with a choice of three different drying modules to suit most applications.

CABLE DRYER
Drying speed of up to 1,000m per minute
The Profile Dryer is the perfect solution for drying complex profiles such as rubber seals, fillers, asymmetric cables and pipes without risks of distortion.
The system draws out and drains moisture from cables, wires and extrusions and where water recycling or spray containment is important.
It can be used as a standalone or combined system with the Cable Dryer for fast running cable applications.
PROFILE DRYER
Designed for intricate and specific profiles
In a combined configuration, the solutions greatly reduce quality test failures in cable tests, especially for smaller diameters.
The unit is available with different drying modules made from stainless steel and ceramic rollers, to eliminate the risk of rust.
Both the Cable Dryer and the Profile Dryer can be fitted with either a lateral channel blower or an enclosed MSX blower.
