Customer Service Award December 2015 Region 4: Rachel Montgomery Rachel encourages our customers to think outside the boundaries of what they have always done. Some of our customers do not have the self-confidence and belief in their skills to do anything other than what they've always done. She challenges this way of thinking. In one incidence, a customer took her advice to look up his skills and has decided to pursue a completely different field than what he's always done, and is very excited about the challenge and change. Way to go, Rachel! Rachel has been learning and applying her knowledge with regard to exemptions and the ongoing changes in orientation and workshops (changes and updates and corrections and modifications). She’s rarely without a smile. I’ve heard from customers about specific classes where they didn’t think they’d learn anything and Rachel proved them wrong. Today Rachel picked up a mop and a few buckets to clean up the classroom. Customer Service Award December 2015

Region 4: Rachel Montgomery

Rachel encourages our customers to think outside the boundaries of what they have always done.

The ceiling leaks and she took it upon herself to get the proper tools, report the issue and then keep the customers safe with warning signs. If there is a job…”just do it” isn’t just a Nike catch phrase.

Customer Service Award August 2014

Rachel Montgomery – Region 4I'll attempt to control myself and...Nominate Rachel Montgomery.

Today I discovered that Rachel spent her birthday money to fill the stars closet. She continually reaches out to her friends and family for donations and makes sure our stars closet is stocked with useful and fun items for our participants.

She stocks the stars closet with nifty little packages of grooming supplies that she puts together herself. She goes to the thrift stores weekly and buys bargain items she thinks would be nice or useful in the closet. She pays with her own money and has no expectation of repayment.

She partnered with Lee to list some of these thrift store finds for sale online in the attempt to raise money for the stars closet. She goes beyond her job expectations to help brighten our customer’s lives. She is truly and inspiration.
