AVON POULTRY HOUSE

Avon Poultry House: This heavily constructed house is suitable for 10/15 birds (dependant on breed).

Manufactured from 2” x 2” planed timber framing, clad with TGV Red-wood Shiplap, 22mm TGV floor on 2” floor joists, the roof is again TGV with mineral felt. There is an access door for cleaning and a large pop hole door (suitable for hens, ducks, geese etc), a vent window, perches and 3 large external nest boxes ac-cessed via a hinged lid.

As an optional extra we can supply a large run. The run can be connected to the house on part of the run, thus giving a dry feed area. Once again the run is constructed with 2” x 2” planed timber framing and heavy gauge weld mesh (inc top). Full wire access door to run with sliding bolt for security, TGV Shiplap door for access to dry feed area. Ramp also supplied.

catalogue.

It should also be noted that when calculating the size of building you require, the sizes quoted herein are building `Footprint’ sizes and do NOT include any roof overhang.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Wood is an organic material with a moisture content that will change along with the seasons. During Winter there will be a high moisture content due to absorption resulting in expansion of the timber, whilst in the Summer months the moisture content will be low, due to drying by the sun, which will

cause contraction and may result in occasional cracking or knots falling out. We therefore respectfully point out that Custom Timber Buildings Ltd cannot be held responsible for any warping or cracking due to this movement. However, to minimise movement and to protect the timber, we do recommend that a quality wood preservative be applied annually to help increase the lifespan of our products. CHICKEN HOUSE & RUN

A compact Chicken House and combined Run suitable for up to 6 medium-sized birds.

The Run is 9’ long and 3’ wide and has a 3’ square by 2’ high House, with access ramp, raised above ground level at one end. Access to the house for egg collection / cleaning is via the hinged roof. A small wire door is incorporated in the side of the run for access to it. Being constructed from solid timber (no ply!) and galvanised weld mesh it will last for years.

The basic house is of a Pent (sloping) roof design and has an access door and a viewing window in the front and a `pop-hole' in one side. AVIARY

An all weather Aviary suitable for the beginner or the expert.

It consists of a roosting house with a large flight attached. An external mesh door provides entry to the flight area whilst another internal door allows access to the roosting area.

A separate viewing window on the front of the building can be removed so that extra flight area can be added using our aviary panels (see below).

This building is constructed to the same high standards as our sheds and fitted with 1” x ½” welded aviary mesh panels. A solid floor is fitted in the roosting house only.
