Work Experience
May – August 2016: Engineering Intern at Team1 Plastics Inc. Duties included: assisted new product process engineer in evaluating trial methods and designing end-of-arm tooling for full production automation.
May - August 2014 & 2015: 21st Century Plastics Corporation, Potterville MI Duties Included: Job shadowed team leader, quality department, material handling, floor supervisor, maintenance, and process set-up. Assisted in multiple fixture designs.
September – May 2015 & 2016: National Elastomer Center at Ferris State University Work Study Position. Duties include: Fix, maintain, and clean all lab equipment and handle various polymers in preparation for lab sessions.
Achievements
Designed several end-of-arm-tools to prepare new products for full automation production. Improved current processes for parts experiencing molding issues. Designed multiple fixtures for easier use of operation & large scale manufacturing. Designed a MUD mold in SolidEdge ST6 to be manufactured and produced in high volume
for a charity part.
