Clinical Teaching Aug 2008 - present; In charge of the Oral Medicine Teaching Clinic for 4

th year

dental students. University Dental Hospital Sharjah, UAE.

This daily specialized clinic is entirely dedicated to complement students’ theoretical

knowledge in Oral Medicine and Pathology. During this clinic, students examine

patients with mucosal lesions, non-odontogenic pains and challenging medical

conditions. Students also observe oral biopsies of suspicious and potentially

malignant and malignant oral lesions.

Experience as a Trainer on Research Ethics

I have been a faculty of 6 training workshops on research ethics in Jordan, Bahrain,

United Arab Emirates and Morocco between 2010 and 2015. Those workshops were

organized by the Middle East Research Ethics Training Initiative MERETI (sponsored by

the US National Institutes of Health, and hosted by the University of Maryland

Baltimore).
