I have used both pedagogical & andragogical techniques in my lectures & tutorials. I have made
my lectures comprehensible using demonstration-method for major subjects through projector. In
the beginning of each course, I have taken extensive foundation-classes to make the subject
easier. Apart from these, I have conducted workshops on writing-skill and on examination-
techniques as well.
7. Special Awards :
1. "St. Stephen's College Centenary Medal”, 1999, Delhi. It is the highest award of the college
given for character combined with learning.
2. First Prize (twice) and second prize (once) in "All India Young Sanskrit Poets' Competition”

1. Details of your contribution to the corporate life of your Institution.
a) Curriculum development
When D. U. was undergoing a complete metamorphosis through adopting semester
system, I have been the key person in designing the curriculum of M. A. (Sanskrit),
B. A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit & four year semester course B. A. (Hons.) I am the prime
person who projected Sanskrit much beyond as a language and introduced papers like
Mathematics & Astronomy, Scientific Heritage of India, Indian Science of Debate,
Self-Management in The Gītā, Introduction to Indian Philosophy, Indian Logic and so
on. I delivered a few lectures & demonstrations and wrote course material for some of
the new courses. In JNU too, I have prepared two new courses. These are as follows:
1. Indian Dialectics : A Textual Study (for M. Phil. Semester II)
2. Logic & Debate in Nyāya (for M. A. Semester III)
I was a committee member for preparing the NCERT text on Indian Philosophical
Systems and assisted in the preparation of study material in the workshop organized
during 10-11 October, 2018 at NCERT, New Delhi.
b) Cultural/extra‐curricular activity
I worked as Departmental Coordinator of Antardvani, the cultural festival of D. U.
I organized a five-day Sanskrit Week Celebrations in August, 2015 as programme
coordinator, SCSS, JNU for 2015-2016
I organized the cultural programme as coordinator in a three day international
programme titled "Sanskrit and Other Indian Languages Technology (SOIL-Tech)"
organized by SSIS, JNU during 15-17 Feb 2019 at JNU and taught music in a few
musical choirs.
c) Sports/community and extension services
I worked as Departmental Coordinator for anti-tobacco drive.
