1 As an In-Charge of Shikshan Mahavidyalaya, I provided lead in framing the

B.Ed. curriculum for semester system in 2009.

2 Developed a Model of Teaching (Joshi’s model of Community Education). This

innovation is an attempt to correlate the teacher education with the society, a

lacking in the teacher education curriculum in India. The very model is being

practiced since 2009 in Shikshan Mahavidyalay. Several Research Papers are

also published in national and international journals regarding its evaluation

and concept.

No. Contribution

3 Introduced a one hour session every week for enhancement of teachers’

preparedness (sajjata) in Shikshan Mahavidyalaya. The provision of such a

session was made in the regular time-table of the institute.

4 In the NCRI financed research project, undertaken by Gujarat Vidyapith, I

worked as the chief coordinator for two years. I provided leadership in the

research to revitalize the Nai Talim. In the project Data-collection, tabulation of

data, data analysis, and interpretation of results were coordinated by me.

5 As a coordinator of Rural Science Extension Centre (Gram Vigyan Vistaran

Kendra), I made it possible to sign an MOU of Rs 7.5 lacs with GEDA (Gujarat

Energy Development Agency) for developing Educational Material and

completed the task.

6 As the coordinator, I reformed and modernized the rural science extension

centre (Gram Vigyan Vistaran Kendra).

7 I prepared the 12th Plan for IASE which is in force nowadays. I initiated in

utilizing the training grant received from GCERT, for Research Projects also.

All teachers of this IASE were benefited. Because of this, some of them could

have achived the Guideship for Ph.D. or M.Phil.

8 I reformed the library of Shikshan Mahavidyalay.

9 I led the teachers of Shikshan Mahavidyalaya to become techno-savvy. Gujarat

Vidyapith provided each of them a computer. I organised a free training for

them from Intel under Teach to the Future programme.

10 An MOU with was signed with INTEL and arranged free training and material

for students from INTEL under Teach To the Future Programme.
