I. GENERAL INFORMATION– I earned PhD in 1990, joined the University of Central

Florida in 2003, and was promoted to Professor in 2013.– I am working on applied and computational harmonic anal-

ysis, sampling theory and signal processing.II. PUBLICATIONS

– I have published more than 100 journal papers on vari-ous journals, including Advances in Mathematics, Appliedand Computational Harmonic Analysis, IEEE Transactionon Image Processing/Information Theory/Signal Process-ing, Journal of Fourier Analysis and Applications, Jour-nal of Functional Analysis, Memoirs/Transaction of Amer-ican Mathematical Society, SIAM Journal on Mathemati-cal Analysis, etc

– My publications have been cited 696 times by 360 authorsaccording to MathSciNet of the American MathematicalSociety, and 2026 times according to Google Scholar.

III. PRESENTATIONS– I gave more than 70 presentations of various types, includ-

ing keynote/plenary talks, colloquia and lecture series.IV. GRANTS

– My research is funded by the National Science Foundation(DMS-1109063 and DMS-1412413).

V. EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES– I taught various courses from lower undergraduate to grad-

uate level. I have supervised one postdoc, two PhD stu-dents and one master student at the University of CentralFlorida. I am currently (co)supervising three PhD stu-dents.

VI. SERVICES– I was on the editorial board of journals “Advances in Com-

putational Mathematics”(2006–2013), “Numerical Function-al Analysis and Optimization” (2010–), ”Sampling Theoryin Signal and Imaging Processing” (2013–) and “Frontiersin Applied Mathematics and Statistics” (2015–).

– I reviewed journal paper submissions, grant proposals, pro-motion and tenure dossiers, etc.

– I am currently graduate coordinator. I have served andchaired on committees at departmental and university lev-els.
