Introduction

CROSS TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS is an Irish company, specialized in the Design, Installation, Service and Maintenance of Specialist Refrigeration Systems.

Established with the Industrial and Specialist fields in mind, we can provide complete ‘Turn-Key’ package using in-house engineers and the latest design & drawing packages.

Cross Technical Solutions was established in 2001 to focus and specialise in Non Standard Refrigeration packages and provide the solutions & support structure that these unique environments require.

In the Dublin region we have engineers and apprentices operating a 24hr service 365 days per year. Our Technical Team includes 5 field engineers, Service Director and Service Manager, Sales Engineer, Engineering Director, Project Manager, Support Project Engineer, Document Controller and Service Administrator.

With a possible temperature difference of 35°C the heat transmission for a 150mm panel would be 4.55w/m2

The maximum permissible heat gain should be limited to 8-10w/m2 (Industry Practice)

Panel Module width: 1100mm centres.

Panel weight: 14.6 Kg/m2

Load span capabilities:

@ 8000mm approx : 0.86Kn/m2

Max Deflection L/100

Value calculated using the method described in BSEN 145009 2006 self supporting double skin metal faced Insulating panels.

Under Floor Heater Mat System

With the room operating at potentially -10C a under floor heater mat system is required.

Electrical system utilising 2.64mm stainless trace wire system, temperature sensing probes linked to self contained control panel with signal display and volt free contact to signal any faults which can be relayed to the on site BMS.

Recommended back up systems:

At Minimum 100% back up on temperature probes.

Back up trace heat elements ( should be considered)

Back up control panel(Not Critical).

Heater Mat System to be covered with a 50mm wet sand & cement screed in order to protect the heater mat system.

Under Vapor Barrier

1000g visqueen vapour barrier

Continuity of vapour barrier system underneath the wall panels is critical element of the construction. Integrity of vapour sealing with overlapping joints is also a critical element of the construction.

Recommended back up systems:

Floor Insulation

Floor insulation shall be installed in two layers of 75mm high density material. All joints to be offset and broken.

Proposed Type: Dow product SP75

Compressive strength 300 Kpa

Structural engineer shall evaluate depending on the design loadings for the finished floor.

Finished Floor Slab

Prior to this being poured a slip membrane should be installed over the floor insulation.

Finished floor slab shall be to structural engineers detail and requirements.

Pressure Release Valves Type Proposed : Fermod 2230.

Quantity required shall be calculated with reference to the manufacturers formula for determination.

Hinge Door

Type = Coolit D12

Door clear opening = 900mm wide x 2000mm High.

Stainless steel covered Hinges.

Coolit Pressure handles complete with lock and internal safety release. Suitable for negative temperature applications.

Electrical Vertical Lift Door

Type = Coolit HT 12H

Suitable for negative temperature application.

Door clear opening = 2200mm wide x 4000mm High.

Door electrically operated with multifunctional control panel with numerous programmable features.

Includes push button control, pull chord operation, self close timers.

120mm thick door leaf.

Door system complete with counter weight balance system.

Standard Features

Door and frame finished in stainless steel. Full perimeter and threshold gasket seals suitable for negative temperature application.

Door complete with frame and threshold anti condensation heater systems. (Constant heat system)
