Large pieces of bubble wrap cut into triangles, circles, and squares.

Pre-cut pieces of duct tape.

Small shapes with Velcro strips attached.

CD or tape player with CD or tape loaded.

Representational:

Large cut out shapes placed on interactive bulletin board against wall in area for activity with labeled shape name (1 triangle, 1 square, 1 circle).

Learning Outcome: The children will be able to freely dance to instrumental music while being aware that their dance actions are causing the bubble wrap to pop.

Health/Safety: Observe children as they handle the plastic bubble wrap shapes. Standard classroom safety rules.
